BANGKOK, June 15 (TNA) — The government will open new Bang Wa to Tha Chang public boat service on Monday in an attempt to facilitate boat passengers, said a deputy spokesman of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The new route is the policy of Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha and it will be operated following a cooperation between Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Marine Department, said the deputy spokesman.
Passengers can travel between the two piers for six-month free of charge, thanks to Transport Ministry’s policy on connecting network of transportation – ‘Wheel, Boat and Rail’ plan and adding more alternative to the people, the deputy spokesman added. (TNA)
