BANGKOK, Jan 10 (TNA) – Representatives of Thailand and Australia signed a memorandum of understanding for bilateral cooperation on cybersecurity and digital economy.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Prajin Juntong, Pichet Durongkaveroj, the Minister of Digital Economy and Society, and visiting Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne.
The MoU covers the exchange of information and good practices on cybersecurity, cybersecurity skill development, support for innovation, and guidelines on digital economy.
After presiding over the signing ceremony, ACM Prajin said the Australian minister also congratulated Thailand for its upcoming important ceremony, gave support for Thailand’s role as the chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and promised to help promote the Eastern Economic Corridor project of Thailand.
