BANGKOK, Oct 16 (TNA) – The Medical Council of Thailand (MCT) is thoroughly investigating a recent case in which a 72-year-old woman died during a thread lift process at a beauty clinic in Bangkok.
The MCT is prepared to punish a doctor if the evidence of the doctor’s recklessness is verified.
Meanwhile, police investigators have been on well progress for their probe in the case and have charged the owner on operating a clinic without a legal license.
The police plan to file another charge of reckless conduct, causing death. Based on updated reports, the result of a probe on chemical substances in the body of the dead victim is expected to be announced within 15 days.
Police earlier quoted the doctor as saying that during the operation, a problem occurred to the blood circulation of the elderly woman and the doctor believed that she was allergic to an anesthetic agent. (TNA)
