BANGKOK, May 8 (TNA) — Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed gratitude towards all parties involved in the smooth organization of coronation ceremonies, asking everyone to remember the moment of national unity and peace.
Gen Prayut said that the coronation was concluded free of problems thanks to the government, the private sector, volunteers and general people who proved their loyalty to His Majesty the King and the three main institutions of the nation namely the nation, religions and the monarch.
“Thai people should be proud of the coronation which did not exist anywhere else. This shows the long-standing customs, cultures and traditions of Thai people. The coronation makes a historical moment of everyone who took part in the important royal ceremony for once in a lifetime,” the prime minister said.
He also encouraged everyone to support the royalty.
“There is the atmosphere of peace and friendliness in the society and social media… If this continues, there will be national peace… I believe that everyone want this to last,” Gen Prayut said. (TNA)
