BANGKOK, April 29 (TNA) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will finish sprucing up the route of the royal procession in the next two days before handing over the area to security agencies.
Bangkok governor, Aswin Kwanmuang said after the third rehearsal of the royal procession, held yesterday, there will be the final check tonight along the royal procession route for to ensure readiness for the coronation ceremonies.
After inspection today, the BMA will have completed upgrades of the remaining Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras and additional light poles by the next two days.
Meanwhile, people, travelling from provinces to witness the historic event can stay overnight at the Thai-Japan Bangkok Youth Centre in Bangkok’s Din Daeng district.
The place can accommodate 1,000 people and shuttle buses will run from the centre to the ceremonial ground in the historic area of Rattanakosin Island. (TNA)
