RATCHABURI, April 25 (TNA) – A wildlife nursery in
Thailand installs water sprinklers to ease the summer heat for animals.
Khao Prathap Chang Wildlife Breeding Center in Ratchaburi
province has experienced hot spell with temperature rising over 40 degree
Celsius.
With the recommendation from veterinarians, the Center has
turned on the new water system installed above animal enclosures to prevent
them from heat-related stress.
Officers also give frozen syrup to the animals.
Most of the 60 species of wildlife animals at the Center are
some 300 animals confiscated from wildlife traders, including 58 tigers.
A section inside the Center is opened for the public for
wildlife studies.(TNA)
