BANGKOK, March 9 (TNA) – The Asok-Phetchaburi flyover will be closed for six months, starting tonight for major repairs.
The 49-year-old bridge will be closed at midnight today until September 4 for restoration. Schools and colleges are now closed for summer break, so it could have less impact on traffic.
However, police have advised motorists to use several other surrounding roads to avoid heavy traffic in the area including Khampaengpet 7, Rama 9, Nikhom Makkasan and Sukhumvit roads during the closure of the flyover.
They have also advised people to use the subway train, if possible. (TNA)
