BANGKOK, March 1 (TNA) — The government announced its readiness to organize ceremonies related to the coronation of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn.
Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam elaborated on ceremonies, schedules and the preparation of sacred water. The Interior Ministry was responsible for the tasks which were 80% completed, he said.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration said it improved landscape gardening along the routes that His Majesty the King would use in the ceremonies.
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission ordered mobile phone operators to enhance their service capacities to ensure smooth communications of mobile phones and internet connection during ceremonial days from May 4 to 6.
NBTC secretary-general Takorn Tantasith said operators would move communication cables into underground ducts on ceremonial routes on Asadang, Bamrung Muang, Fueang Nakhon, Charoen Krung, Rachinee, Tanao and Phra Sumen roads as well as the vicinities of Wat Bowonniwet Vihara within March 10. (TNA)
