CHIANG MAI, Jan 25 (TNA) – Sub-zero weather at the top of
Thailand’s highest peak, Doi Inthanon mount, treats tourists with picturesque
white frost.
Mercury Friday morning dropped to minus two degree Celsius
at the peak that has lured visitors to experience rare winter scenery in
Thailand during the cold season.
At Kiew Mae Pan viewpoint, temperature was recorded at minus
three degree to the delight of visitors flocking for sunrise viewing and sea of
mist.
They were excited with white frost on grass and leaves
throughout the top part of Doi Inthanon National Park.
The park officials reported over 3,000 people visiting the
park on Thursday.(TNA)
