BANGKOK, Jan 2 (TNA) — Deputy Prime Minister/Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon was grateful for all concerned parties for maintaining security during the New Year festival.
Defence spokesman Kongcheep Tantrawanit said Gen Prawit expressed his gratitude towards all security units including the military, the police, and administrative and intelligence officials who had taken shifts to ensure security around the clock during the New Year transitional period. Their hard work resulted in the happiness of all families during the joyful time of the year, Lt Gen Kongcheep said.
“Gen Prawit also said that the happiness and peace that have been existing result from the hard work of government officials from all organizations as well as understanding and cooperation from the people who want to see national prosperity, peace and unity.
“We must thank all people who have been cooperating with the government and complying with laws. This results in the ongoing national prosperity and peace. We hope that the development will continue and the cooperation will grow on special occasions in 2019,” said the spokesman of the Defence Ministry. (TNA)
