RATCHABURI, DEC 14 (TNA) – Fourteen students from China,
Taiwan and Malaysia have participated in an excursion to rural Thai villages as
part of the Student Mobility Program.
Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Decorative Arts has
organized the three-day trip for the international students to Ratchaburi and
Phetchaburi provinces.
They arrived on Friday at a learning center in Photharam
district of Ratchaburi where they observed and tried out a myriad of
traditional crafts makings.
Professor Ekachart Chan-urairat said the objective of the
tour was to share Thailand cultural heritage and folkways to the exchange
students.
Many Thai universities have offered student mobility
programs as a key strategic element of higher education cooperation, not only
on focusing on culture but also the fields of agriculture, economics,
engineering and so on.(TNA)
