BANGKOK, Dec 11 (TNA) – A Mercedes Benz hit a broken-down pick-up truck on the elevated Srirat expressway, sending two men into a fatal plunge to the ground below.
The accident occurred at 9am on Tuesday when the sedan crashed into the rear of the furniture pick-up truck, which stopped on the expressway shoulder above the Wat Bua Kwan temple in Nonthaburi province.
The impact knocked two men, standing in front of the broken-down vehicle over the safety wall. They fell to death from the expressway immediately.
The other man, travelling in the pick-up truck is safe as he was not standing near the vehicle, hit by the car.
Two women in the sedan are also safe. One of the women, about 30 years old was seen crying at the scene. Parts of their car’s hood were severely damaged from the crash. (TNA)
