BANGKOK, Dec 8 (TNA) – Thailand’s new 1,000-baht banknote, bearing the portrait of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, has received ‘The Best New Banknote Award’ during the international conference on the High Security Printing Asia 2018, said the Bank of Thailand (BoT).
The conference was held in Hanoi.
The award was presented after participants at the conference considered that Thailand’s new 1,000 baht banknote showed an outstanding designs and innovative technology which makes counterfeiting difficult, said the BoT.
