BANGKOK, July 2 (TNA) – Thailand reported six new cases of Covid-19, all of which were imported from abroad and tested positive to coronavirus while being in state quarantine.
Dr Panprapa Yongtrakul, assistant spokesman of the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said that of all 3,179 confirmed cases, 3,059 cases recovered and 62 others are being treated at hospitals. The death toll stood at 58.
The new cases were four Thais, returning from Indonesia, one from South Africa and one from Sudan.
The country marks 38 consecutive days without local transmission.
Thailand ranked 96th by the number of accumulated Covid-19 cases. (TNA)
