NONTHABURI, May 25 (TNA) – The Department of International Trade Promotion has launched the MOVE project for digital content providers to display their products and services online.
Introducing move.ditp.go.th, Deputy Prime Minister/Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit said the department supported digital content operators in internationally exhibiting their products and services and organizing business negotiations in the form of Multimedia Online Virtual Exhibition (MOVE) on the move.ditp.co.th platform.
The platform gathered key information on industries including interesting figures and statistics, detailed data of Thai operators and communication channels. It functioned like working space where operators could discuss businesses and exchange files on the real-time and one-on-one manner, Mr Jurin said.
He said the new platform allowed digital content providers to reach international markets and it was Thailand’s first platform exhibiting all its digital content products and services.
The MOVE project was set for implementation on May 25-27 for the presentations of Thai producers of movies, animations, visual effects and characters. MOVE also included business-matching with international buyers, seminars and workshops via video conferences.
Mr Jurin said that digital content normally generated national income worth 110 billion baht yearly but the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic affected the business. (TNA)
