BANGKOK, May 16 (TNA) – The Mass Rapid Transit Authority extends its daily electric railway service hours until 10.30pm from May 17 onwards in accordance with new curfew hours.
The new service hours will apply to MRT’s Blue Line and Purple Line where last electric trains will reach their terminus within 10.30pm instead of 9.30pm so that commuters will have enough time to arrive home before the curfew starts.
The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration has set the new night-time curfew from 11pm to 4am from May 17 onwards. Earlier the curfew was from 10pm to 4am.
Commuters can check the schedules of MRT trains at the Facebook page, MRT Bangkok Metro, and www.bemplc.co.th or through the mobile application, Bangkok MRT, and the call center 0 2624 5200.
MRT advises commuters to wear face masks, wash their hands with alcohol gel at stations and keep away from other people for at least one meter while they are on its electric railway systems. (TNA)
