BANGKOK, Jan 16 (TNA) – Cambodian Ambassador to Thailand
Ouk Sorphorn has paid a courtesy call on Thai prime minister after being
appointed to the post.
In the meeting with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha at
Government House on Thursday, Sorphorn said Cambodia was thankful for
Thailand’s assistance for Cambodian migrant workers.
He also promised to work to safeguard peace and stability
along the common border for the mutual benefits.
Prime Minister Prayut expressed his appreciation for
Cambodia’s support for Thailand as chair of ASEAN last year.
Thailand would provide support for Cambodia to foster
bilateral and regional connectivity and cooperation, Prayut told Sorphorn.
