BANGKOK, Nov 29 (TNA) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAT) organized Thailand Rubber Expo to let producers meet international buyers and present Thai rubber products.
Narapat Kaewthong, vice minister of agriculture and cooperatives, said the exposition was a forum for business negotiations of Thai farmers and operators and international buyers and on the same occasion Thailand was showing off its potential as the leading producer and exporter of quality rubber products.
He said that efforts to promote rubber products were improving the life of local rubber growers and empowering their organizations.
RAT acting governor Sunant Nuanphromsakul said Thailand Rubber Expo was set at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 5 in the Muang Thong Thani estate in Nonthaburi province from Nov 29 to Dec 1.
The exposition comprised six zones for business negotiations, some 250 rubber product booths, exhibitions on rubber-related innovation and research, panel discussions, public services, and exhibitions of organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. (TNA)
