CHIANG MAI, April 23 (TNA) – Firefighters in Chiang Mai brought a fire under control at the well-known Dhara Dhevi Hotel early on Wednesday.
The blaze, which started around 2 a.m. local time, affected part of a building within the luxury resort.
While the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still being investigated, rescue services confirmed that the fire was contained by approximately 4 a.m. Crews are continuing to monitor the scene and douse remaining embers within a severely damaged wooden structure.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or fatalities. Authorities are inspecting the area to ensure the fire does not spread to other parts of the hotel. An assessment of the total damage is underway. -819 (TNA)
