BANGKOK, June 20 (TNA) – All eight Thai volleyball players, infected with the coronavirus have recovered and returned to Thailand on Monday.
Piyanut Pannoy, Suppattra Pairoj, Watchareeya Nuanjam and Sutadta Chuewulim, Sasipaporn Janthawisut, Hattaya Bamrungsuk, Tichakorn Boonlert and Natthanicha Jaisean were found being infected with the virus during the competition in the second week of the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League in the Philippines.
The Thai team ended the second week of the tournament in eighth place. They will play against South Korea on June 29, the Dominican Republic on June 30, Brazil on July 2 and Italy on July 3 in the next tournament in Bulgaria. (TNA)
