BANGKOK, March 4 (TNA) – The mother of singer Chai-amorn Kaewwiboonpan, aka Ammy The Bottom Blues, would repeat a request for bail of her son who was detained during his prosecution related to an arson of the prison’s property.
It was reported that the mother planned to raise the bail to 500,000 baht in the second bail request that would be filed today.
The first bail request was proposed yesterday evening with a bail of 90,000 baht. The Criminal Court denied it, citing that the suspect had tried to escape and his offence carried heavy penalties.
Mr Chai-amorn was arrested at a rented room in Ayutthaya province at about 1am yesterday for setting fire on the property in front of the Klongprem Central Prison on Feb 28.
Police brought him to Police General Hospital in Bangkok as he had injury in his left shoulder and hip for a fall.
This morning police would ask the Criminal Court to order his detention at the Bangkok Remand Prison for considering his injury as minor one. (TNA)
