BANGKOK, Nov 2 (TNA) – Crowds of people gathered around the Sanam Luang ground next to the Grand Palace to greet Their Majesties the King and Queen.
Among them, actors Bin and Ekapan Bunluerit said the people were showing their sincere loyalty and commitment to protect the royal institution.
Yellow-clad people were waiting to see Their Majesties the King and Queen who went to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside the Grand Palace to put on the winter robes of the Emerald Buddha at 5pm.
Actors and twins Bin and Ekapan Bunluerit said they were happy to see lots of people showing up on the occasion to demonstrate their loyalty and strong intention to protect the royal institution. They said they did not lead the gathering and it was not politically motivated to confront any protesters.
Officials measured the body temperatures of the people at checkpoints to control the novel coronavirus and Their Majesties the King and Queen provided them with foods and gifts.(TNA)
