historic Parliament House that has been the legislative seat of power for over
40 years before relocation to a new complex.
The Parliament House compound consisting three building was
built and first used by legislative assembly in 1974.

Bureau of the Royal House Hold, it will close its door on New Year’s Eve before
a new Parliament is due to complete in the middle of next year.
Parliament House officials, shop and restaurants owners and
workers as well as politicians gathered to take photograph of historic
buildings and the royal monument of King Rama VII.
House of Representatives Secretary Sorasak Pianvej said
he had proposed to relocate the royal monument the new Parliament instead of
building a new monument.
“The monument holds
invaluable significance because the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej presided over
the opening ceremony 44 years ago,” he said.
The new parliament building is still under construction in

After the New Year, the National Legislative Assembly will
continue to use only the main building for sessions until February. But all staff had already moved to other
