BANGKOK, Oct 31 (TNA) — The Royal Thai Air Force will host the 66th International Congress of Aviation and Space Medicine (ICASM) 2018 in Bangkok on Nov 11-15 and doctors from the Wild Boars rescue mission will participate.
ACM Thawornwat Jantanakom, assistant chief of the air force, said the international congress would take place at Millennium Hilton Hotel in Bangkok. He expected the air force and aviation-related organizations to gain new knowledge on modern aviation medicine and later develop Thailand to be a regional leader in the field.
Aviation medicine doctors would take the opportunity to expand their networks to exchange knowledge and information and keep abreast of latest developments, he said.

This year’s meeting will happen in the theme of “Sharing the Sky Safely” and doctors joining the rescue mission of the Wild Boars young football team from the flooded Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai province would share their experiences in the meeting, especially on their teamwork with officials from various fields, AVM Thaweesak said.
