BANGKOK, July 10 (TNA) — Line Thailand keeps promoting its stickers in the country as they prove to be very popular among local buyers and creators.
Kanop Supamanop, Line Thailand’s director for sticker business, said Line stickers grew well in Thailand this year as local Line application users made the highest purchase of 20 sticker sets per buyer. When free stickers were included, Thai users had the highest number of 65 sets of stickers per person, he said.
Line stickers were also growing among local creators, brand owners, artists and celebrities. The highest number of sticker sets that local artists and celebrities made was more than 100, Mr Kanop said.
This year’s promotional campaigns targeted male users. Besides, there was a new function enabling users to add words to their stickers and online payment channels were introduced to facilitate sticker purchases, he said.
Line Thailand was also supporting local sticker creators. There were more than 480,000 local Line sticker designers and more than 2 million sticker sets were available in the country, forming 35% of all available Line stickers, Mr Kanop said.
He added that 28 Line sticker characters by Thai designers were internationally successful.
Line application is considered the most popular social messaging network in Thailand. (TNA)
