BANGKOK, July 11 (TNA) — Thai people are among the top three biggest mobile phone-based shoppers of the world, according to a leading e-commerce company Lazada.
Thanida Suiwatthana, marketing chief of Lazada Thailand, said that Indonesian people were the world’s biggest group doing online shopping via mobile phones, followed by Chinese and Thai shoppers.
Regarding data of shopping via Lazada, Monday was the most popular day of online shopping. The most popular buying hour was from 10am to 11pm when new promotions were posted. Consumers spent 10.3 minutes on online shopping platforms per use, Ms Thanida said.
According to her, the biggest group of online shoppers were 18-29 years old and cooperation between the government and Alibaba Group, the mother company of Lazada, raised the number of sellers by 68.3%.
The biggest online sales came from mobile phones and women’s clothes were the most popular product category. (TNA)
