BANGKOK, May 22 (TNA) – Thailand has launched “APi Goes
Japan” campaign to promote marketing opportunity for Thai produce among
Japanese consumers.
Institute for Agricultural Product Innovation (APi) joins
hands with G-Yu Creative, a Japanese consultant and management company, in
organizing the campaign.
Thai Deputy Commerce Minister Chutima Bunyapraphasara said
G-Yu Creative who had 15-year experience in consultancy for Thai and Japanese
businesses had been selected to run the campaign as well as a newly-established
import company “Thai Mono Town.”
Thirty four Thai companies will showcase their top
innovative agricultural products to Ryubo Industry under the programme.
Ryubo would select Thai products for its inventories at
department stores and convenience stores in Okinawa, Chutima said.
The Ministry expected at least 30 Thai innovative
agricultural products would be selected, leading the way of expansion of Thai
goods in the Japanese market, she added.
Ryubo Industry has also signed a partnership agreement with
Thai Mono Town who will supply raw materials and manufactured products from
Thailand.(TNA)
