NONTHABURI, May 22 (TNA) — The Institute for Agricultural Product Innovation (APi) is bringing innovative farm products from Thailand to outlets in Japan’s Okinawa prefecture.
Deputy Commerce Minister Chutima Bunyapraphasara said APi together with G-Yu Creative Co, a firm experienced in Thai-Japanese investment, brought representatives of 34 Thai manufacturers of innovative farm products to discuss business partnerships with RYUBO Industry Ltd to sell their products at the RYUBO department store and about 300 FamilyMart stores in Okinawa.
Okinawa was an important tourism prefecture of Japan and huge crowds of Japanese and foreign tourists were visiting it. Thai products’ presence there would effectively create the international awareness of Thai products in general, Ms Chutima said.
According to her, G-Yu Creative’s subsidiary Thai Mono Town together with RYUBO Industry will select Thai products for sales at the supermarket of RYUBO. (TNA)
