BANGKOK, March 8 (TNA) – The stories of the 12 Wild
Boars young footballers and their coach, who were trapped in the flooded cave
in Chiang Rai will be made into Netflix original series by an American film
production company.
SK Global Entertainment was granted the film rights
to produce the series about the Wild Boars team, being trapped in the Tham Luang
cave for two weeks last year, Government spokesman Lt-General Werachon
Sukondhapatipak said yesterday.
SK Global will later sign a contract with the 13
Tham Luang Company, which is in charge of the copyright. It is the first time
that Netflix will allow Thai digital TV channels to broadcast the cave series
but more details will be discussed later.
The boys and the coach will earn about 2-3 million baht
each from the production and some of the money will be donated to the
organization and foundations, involving in the rescue mission.
The government –appointed Creative Media Committee
let the boys and their parents make the decision to choose the film production
company for their stories.
The committee asked SK Global to include assistance and
volunteer spirit outside the cave in the series. The film production company
