BANGKOK, Oct 31 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha encourages young scientists to help solve national problems, saying the government is ready to support them.
He extended the message when about 500 young scientists met him to present their national development projects for implementation in the next two decades. The projects include food, medical, public health and energy ones.
On the occasion, Gen Prayut said sciences and technologies would increase national income and help free Thailand from its middle-income trap.
The prime minister asked the young scientists to find solutions to labor shortages in the agricultural sector and the implementation of new city plans and traffic measures that he said had been blocked by local people.
He also encouraged the young scientists to realize their projects in five years and said that the government was ready to support their projects. (TNA)
