BANGKOK, May 15 (TNA) – Bangkok Airways has resumed two flights daily to Samui Island in Surat Thani, strictly imposing social distancing measures for the safety of passengers.
The airline has applied sanitary guidlines of the Public Health Ministry and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).
It gave away face masks with specially-designed pattern to all passengers, flying on the first day of the flight resumption.
The airline performs body temperature measurement on passengers at the origin and the destination and arranges seats on board to keep them apart at proper distance.
Standing and waiting points are designated at service counters and on shuttle buses for passengers to keep safe distances from others.
Passengers are required to wear face masks as well as cabin crew. Eating and drinking is not allowed on board and no food is served during flights. (TNA)
