BANGKOK, May 13 (TNA) — Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was satisfied with the report of no new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection and encouraged people to strictly follow disease control measures.
Government spokeswoman Narumon Pinyosinwat said the prime minister was thankful for people’s full cooperation with disease control measures that resulted in no new COVID-19 cases and he also asked everyone to continuously comply with disease control measures.
“The prime minister cares about people from all walks of life and wants everyone to be cautious. Measures are being relaxed. Everyone should be patient, always wear face masks, adhere to social distancing, regularly clean themselves and take good care of their health,” Ms Narumon said.
The prime minister ordered officials to look for infected people in at-risk groups and places. He also asked operators whose businesses reopened to follow measures and advice to prevent the second round of COVID-19 spreading, the government spokeswoman said. (TNA)
