CHONBURI, Feb 20 (TNA) – Naval officials will clean up facilities at the Sattahip naval base after all 137 Thai returnees from Wuhan completed the 14-day quarantine and left for home.
Buildings 3-7 and housewares will be cleaned and disinfected. Clean-up operations will take about 10 days and the place will be handed over to the navy to resume accommodation service for the public on March 1
Meanwhile, one Covid-19 patient among the group of 138 Thais, returning from Wuhan remains at Chon Buri hospital.
A repeat test will be conducted on him to see if he is no longer infectious before he will be discharged and return home soon.
The returnees received the best treatment at the Sattahip naval base after their arrival on Feb 4. They had earlier stranded in coronavirus-hit Wuhan city in lockdown by the Chinese government. (TNA)
