CHONBURI, Feb 19 (TNA) – Thai returnees from Wuhan have
gradually travelled home after they were place in isolation for 14 days at the
Sattahip naval base in Chonburi.
The results of repeat testing showed all 137 people
tested negative to Covid-19 and they were ready to leave for home. Meanwhile,
one person remains under monitoring at Chon Buri hospital.
Deputy Public Health Minister, Sathit Pitutecha and
Chon Buri governor Pakathorn Tienchai gave them souvenirs before they left.
The navy has provided bus service to send them to
bus terminals and airports in Bangkok while many have been picked up by their
relatives.
The buildings used for quarantine will be cleaned up
before the seaside accommodation service there resume for the public. (TNA)
