BANGKOK, Dec 3 (TNA) – Thailand’s consumer prices increased
0.21 percent in November due largely to higher public transport fares, the
Ministry of Commerce has announced.
Pimchanok Vonkorpon, director-general of the Ministry’s
Trade Policy and Strategy Office, said consumer price index edged up to 102.61
points or 0.21 percent in November.
The rise in prices was largely due to higher public
transport fares, therefore, the Ministry recommended government’s actions to
lower people’s expenses.
Average consumer price in the 11 months of this year was up
0.69 percent, she said. (TNA)
