BANGKOK, Sept 18 (TNA) — The Culture Ministry and MCOT Plc are jointly promoting Thai fabric through TV program hosts’ clothing and TV episodes with Thai fabric content.
Poramet Ngampichet, vice minister of culture, and MCOT president Khemathat Pholdet announced the Thai fabric campaign project at the Culture Ministry. They said it was aimed at honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, conserving wisdom relating to Thai fabric, promoting Thai fabric and boosting communities’ income.
The campaign includes 12 episodes of short documentaries on outstanding Thai fabric from different localities nationwide, set to be on air between 7.30pm and 8.50pm.
Besides, MCOT news anchors and program hosts will wear clothing made from Thai fabric. Their appearances will be in TV programs broadcasted through conventional TV and digital platforms.
MCOT was pleased to join the campaign to raise public awareness on the value of Thai fabric and the campaign was set from Sept 24 to December, Mr Khemathat said. (TNA)
