PRACHIN BURI, Oct 24 (TNA) – Motorists are warned of wild elephants, roaming on a road, running through the Khao Yai National Park in Prachin Buri.
Head of Khao Yai National Park, Kanchit Srinoppawan said that a herd of more than 25 elephants was spotted on the road near the Noen Hom park entrance.
Officials closed the portion of road, where the elephants were walking to prevent vehicles entering the area for the safety of motorists.
Park officials spent one hour to push them back into the forest before they reopened the road.
They advised motorists to park their vehicles at least 30 metres from the elephants when encountering the wild animals.
The drivers must not use horns to chase elephants and refrain from using flashlights to take the photos of the animals. (TNA)
