BANGKOK, October 9 (TNA) – North Korean Ambassador to Thailand Kim Je Bong praises the long and stable diplomatic ties between North Korea and Thailand.
Ambassador Kim met with Thai Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office Anucha Nakasai on Friday.
Even though Thailand has followed a resolution issued by the United Nation’s Security Council to pressure North Korea, Thailand and North Korea have maintained bilateral dialogue and continued cooperation on different levels.
Anucha told reporters that the North Korean diplomat congratulated him on his assumption of the Cabinet post. The minister said that he and the ambassador did not discuss political affairs but expressed empathy to each other in time of hardship caused by the global pandemic. (TNA)
