BANGKOK, April 30 (TNA) – Tomorrow, the salary for newly-recruited civil servants will see a raise, alongside adjustments to the minimum retirement pay rates.
Deputy Government Spokesperson Radklao Inthawong Suwankiri announced that the Cabinet approved these salary adjustments last November, and they will be implemented starting May 1.
The aim is to ensure that those in positions requiring a bachelor’s degree qualification receive a monthly salary of at least 18,000 baht, while those in roles requiring a vocational certificate receive no less than 11,000 baht within a two-year period.
In addition to addressing the needs of newly-recruited civil servants, the government is also focusing on the welfare of retired civil servants. Those whose pension, combined with living expense assistance, falls below 11,000 baht per month, will receive an increase in living expense assistance in accordance with specified rates to keep pace with rising living costs. – 819 (TNA)
