BANGKOK, April 29 (TNA) – The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration declared six provinces dark red zones for its harshest disease control measures and asked all parties to implement their work-from-home policy to the fullest degree. The measures will take effect on May 1.
CCSA spokesman Dr Taweesilp Visanuyothin said dark red zones were declared in Bangkok, Chon Buri, Chiang Mai, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan.
In the provinces, CCSA bans any activity that would gather more than 20 people, dining-in and the use of sports fields, fitness clubs and gymnasiums. Restaurants, shopping centers, department stores and community malls can open until 9pm. Convenience stores, supermarkets, night markets and flea markets can open from 4am to 11pm.
CCSA encouraged government and private organizations to let their staff members work from home for at least 14 days.
The measures will take effect on May 1 and be evaluated 14 days afterwards. (TNA)
