PHUKET, July 18 (TNA) – Rescuers continues searching for two Filipino tourists after they were swept out to sea in high waves yesterday.
They have been searching the waters off Freedom Beach by jet skis while divers cannot search in the water due to heavy rain and high waves.
Heavy rain and rough sea obstructed the search yesterday, forcing the rescuers to suspend the search operations temporarily for safety reasons.
The search resumed immediately when the weather condition improved.
The missing tourists came in a group of 13 male tourists. They went swimming at the Freedom Beach and four of them were swept out to the sea.
Two were rescued and two others were swept by high waves and disappeared. (TNA)
