PHANG NGA, April 2 (TNA) – More than 500 runners have
participated in the 1st Phang Nga Beach Run by Quiksilver, a sports event organised to promote tourism in the southern province lying on the Andaman coast.
The first-ever fun run of the southern province covered a
four-kilometer course on Bang Sak Beach.
Before the start, runners played fun games and lucky draws
for prizes and goodies.

Athiseth who organised the sporting event said runners enjoyed sunset scenery
on the white sand beach with their families.
The association planned to organise another running event in
the old town of Takua Pa district in May, she said, aimed at boosting tourism
of the coastal province.(TNA)
