BANGKOK, March 26 (TNA) – The 40th Bangkok International
Motor Show will open its door to car enthusiasts on Wednesday.
On press day, head of the organising committee Prachin
Eiam-lamnao highlighted that the country’s election last weekend gave a big
boost to the country’s auto industry.
Investors’ confidence and economic prospect had increased,
he said.
Thailand’s car production is expected to reach over 2.2
million units, a 4 percent growth, he said.
Throughout the Motor Show until April 7, Prachin said he
expected over 1.6 million visitors at Muang Thong Thani’s Challenger Hall
featuring latest models of 33 carmakers and 14 motorcycle companies.
Prachin said the organiser set a sales target at this
edition of Bangkok Motor Show at 40,000 units. (TNA)
