RAYONG, March 15 (TNA) –
The 4th Kite Festival is being held at Lam Mae Pim Beach in Rayong
until tomorrow.
The three-day event is co-organized by
the Tourism Authority of Thailand and local authorities to conserve the
cultural heritage of the folk game in this eastern province.
Activities include an exhibition on
the history of kite flying in Thailand, kite-making demonstrations and traditional
folk kite flying.
The festival is in line with the province’s tourism development
strategy to boost local tourism income.
The event is expected to attract
students to learn more about Thai kites during the school break.
