BANGKOK, March 1 (TNA) – Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement, urging India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint and work towards a peaceful solution to their conflict.
The statement on the ministry’s website said Thailand is deeply concerned over the rising tensions between India and Pakistan in the wake of the terrorist attack on Feb 14 in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the loss of lives and injuries, and disrupting air travelling to and from the region in a significant way.
Thailand urges India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any action that may further aggravate the situation.
Thailand calls upon both sides to work towards a peaceful solution to their conflict through a constructive dialogue in order to maintain peace and stability in the region. (TNA)
