KHON KAEN, DEC 18 (TNA) – The Amazing International
Flower Festival 2018 boasts the largest display of winter flowers in Thailand’s
northeastern Khon Kaen province.
Organised under the concept of “castle of flowers,” the
Festival at Bueng Thung Sang public park features over 100,000 flowering and
ornament trees.
Khon Kaen Governor Somsak Chungtrakul opened the blossoming
festival on Monday.
In his opening remarks, Somsak said the Festival came at the
beginning of the cool season that Khon Kaen welcomed winter tourists headed for
destinations in the upper Northeast.
All kinds of winter flowers thriving in this tropical
country awaited tourists to admire their beauties, said Somsak.
Until January 3, the blooming extravagance is exhibited in
15 zones of different styles from flower castle, fountain garden to dinosaur
