PHETCHABURI, Nov 23 (TNA) – A Moroccan delegation visits a royal project of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand to observe agricultural and livestock development schemes.
Morocco’s National Education Ministry officials arrived at Chang Hua Man Royal Project in Phetchaburi province on Friday, during their working visit to Thailand.
Thai Education Ministry officials welcomed their counterparts at the project site in Tha Yang district and showed numerous activities initiated and developed by the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Like other royally-initiated projects, Chang Hua Man is dedicated to improve livelihoods of the Thai people. It is one of over 4,000 projects in the areas of agriculture, environment, public health, occupational promotion, water resources, public welfare pioneered by the late King who passed away in October 2016.
The Chang Hua Man Royal Project was established in 2009 aimed at demonstrating organic crop cultivation and soil fertility revitalization. It also serves as a learning center for local Thai farmers to learn about organic farming, dairy farming and renewable energy.(TNA)
