CHIANG MAI, June 29 (TNA) – An Indian man has been arrested
in Thailand’s Chiang Mai city on charges of electronic card skimming.
The 36-year-old man was caught at a hotel room in the
northern city where police found several fake and stolen ATM and credit
cards.
He told police that he had stolen up to 500,000 baht after
arriving in Thailand six months ago.
Police said they would continue to investigate into the
crime to find out the man’s overseas connection as well as past cash
withdrawals suspected of ATM skimming. (TNA)
