BANGKOK, March 10 (TNA) – Thai Public Health Ministry has reported three more Covid-19 cases – all Thai nationals, raising the total confirmed cases in the country to 53.
Three new cases are a 41-year-old woman, who came into close contact with a patient and a couple, who have recently returned from Italy.
The woman, the 51st patient has no travel history to other countries but she came into close contact with the 45th patient, who is receiving treatment at a hospital in Chon Buri.
She developed a fever on March 7 and sought medical treatment. Now, she is being treated at Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok.
Another two new cases are the couple in their late 40s, who returned from Italy. They were careful and self-isolated after their return to Thailand.
Among all 53 cases, 33 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals and 19 cases are being treated in hospitals. Thailand records one death from the new coronavirus. (TNA)
