CHON BURI, Feb 7 (TNA) – Two more Thai people evacuated from Wuhan city of China had a cold and were isolated for examination.
The Public Health Ministry reported that the two people had stayed in the same room at the Sattahip naval base in Chon Buri province after the evacuation on Tuesday.
One of them was moved to Sattahip Hospital and the other to Chon Buri Hospital last night for physicals.
Earlier four other evacuees had been admitted at Queen Sirikit Hospital.
They did not have any lung disorder left and were proved to be free of the novel coronavirus. The four would soon be sent to accommodation at the Sattahip naval base where 132 other returnees stay for their quarantine.
Today the mother of a Thai student who returned from Wuhan paid a visit at the naval base.
She was the first relative of the Thai returnees. At Abhakornkiatiwong Hospital she had a video conference with her daughter.
She said she had contacted her daughter via chat application and phone but she wanted to see her daughter’s face so that she would be strong enough to resume work.
Besides, staff of the Naval Science Department demonstrated how they disinfected the passports and mobile phones of the returnees.
The decontamination process took six hours. (TNA)
